Kaleidoscope Orchestra

is a Manchester-based session orchestra consisting of a collective of young musicians passionate about taking the classical orchestra into new directions and crossing the orchestral boundaries in both the studio and on stage.We are an eclectic ensemble specialising in collaborations and innovative re-workings of music from a range of genres.

Performances have included headlining the WARP Festival at the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester Academy, The Ritz and the Kensington Rooftop Gardens in London. Collaborations have included providing orchestral backings and arrangements for Flux Pavilion's new album 'Tesla', as well as a purely orchestral arrangement of his track entitled 'Emotional'. The strings of the orchestra also provided backing for two tracks for the Bristol-based drum & bass group, Dr Meaker.
